Flamenco is a multicultural artistic expression that integrates gitano (Roma), Spanish, Arab, Indian, and Latin American cultural influences! It emerged from the needs of oppressed peoples to express themselves and honor their journeys. A perfect match for a vibrant Heritage Month celebration!
We offer many options for your event:

💃🏻 Flamenco performances (solos or
group performances, in collaboration with Laura Sánchez Flamenco Company)
🪭 Workshops about Flamenco as an
example of multicultural and decolonial
practice (theory + dance)
🌎Workshop about the Latinx and immigrant experiences
🫶🏽 Training on inclusive practices incorporating flamenco movement
